Installation
- Upload the
latest-update-datedirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Set the settings for displaying the date in the footer

Are you looking for the latest update date of the specific page or post, or the latest update date of the entire site?
I’m planning on releasing new features in this plugin and both are on the shortlist.
