Yoast RedesignAt first, it scared the hell out of me. Joost de Valk, one of Hollands most promising SEO’s, changed the design of his blog. And when I say changed, I mean a complete rebuild. It took me some time to understand that it was Joost’s blog I was looking at.

Joost de Valk, from now on known as Yoast, has put together a really great looking theme for his blog. Besides his great WordPress plugins and tools, his SEO tools are one of the things you have to check out. But the best of all, is the quality content on his blog.

Yoast holds a great blog, but also a great set of articles. One is that good, that I want to name it here specifically. WordPress SEO is one hell of a article, that covers the Search Engine Optimisation for WordPress from a to z.

To get started on Yoast, please take some time to meet Yoast. If you’re interested in SEO, WordPress or blogging in general, Yoast is the place to be!

A lot of questions are popping in my inbox, asking what I’m doing each and every day. Most people ask me, because I haven’t blogged in a while, on any of my blogs.

Well, to answer the question simple and straight forward, I am very busy completing my internship at PST Business Solutions. I am working on connecting the support tool and the administrative tool, with the new CRM system; vtiger. The employees no longer have to edit their data at multiple locations, which obviously saves time.

Besides implementing the new CRM system, I’m assisting the marketing people with some Google AdWords campaigns and from time to time I help them out with issues regarding their website (running Joomla). Great fun working with Darko and Karin.

But I shouldn’t be that busy if my internship was the only thing I’m working on. When I have a few spare hours, most of the time goes in developing my own CMS. Using PHP and MySQL, scripting object-oriented (OOP), it is educative and it makes a great CMS, for me to quickly deploy new websites, at the same time!

And off course, I have my (offline) social life. My girlfriend always comes at the very first place, the same goes for my family and friends. That’s what I’m doing lately!
